Application

The catheter set provides temporary central venous access for hemodialysis, inserted into the internal jugular vein to establish the arterial and venous connections to the extracorporeal circuit. Insertion technique and confirmation of catheter tip position should follow standard clinical protocol.

Storage and handling

• Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperature extremes.
• Maintain sterile packaging integrity until use. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
• Single use only. Do not reuse or resterilise.
• Insertion and management by trained personnel under aseptic technique.
• Observe the expiry date and rotate stock.
• Dispose of under the facility’s medical waste protocol.
