Composition

8.4% w/v sodium bicarbonate solution, supplied ready-to-use for proportioning with acid concentrate and treated water by the dialysis machine. Full formulation detail is set out in the manufacturer’s certificate of analysis.

Application

BC03 8.4% is used to prepare bicarbonate dialysate for hemodialysis, proportioned with acid concentrate and treated water according to the dialysis machine’s mixing ratio. Confirm the proportioning ratio and machine compatibility before ordering.

Storage and handling

• Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperature extremes.
• Keep the container sealed until use. Do not use if the seal is broken or the solution is discoloured.
• Single use only per treatment session.
• Observe the expiry date and rotate stock (first-expiry, first-out).
• Dispose of empty containers under the facility’s waste protocol.
